Linked Solutions offers remote support through Microsoft Remote Assistance. Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and other operating systems support sending remote assistance invitations.

Sending a Remote Assistance Invitation
1. Open Windows Messenger.  If you do not have Windows Messenger setup, click here.
2. Select someone from Linked Solutions who is online.  Right click the Windows Messenger name and select Ask for Remote Assistance.
3. Once a Linked Solutions support person accepts the invitation, the Requestor receives a notification stating that the Support Person wants to start the session now and the Requestor is prompted to start the Remote Assistance session.
4. If the Requestor chooses to start the session, the Remote Assistance Requestor chat dialog box will open on the Requestor's computer and the Remote Assistance Support Person console opens on the Support Person's computer. At this point, the Support Person can see everything on the Requestor computer, in real time.
5. The Support Person can request to take control of the Requestors computer at this point by clicking the Take Control button on the Support Person console. This sends a message to the Requestor's computer notifying the Requestor that the Support Person is requesting to take control of the computer. The message provides the following three methods by which the Requestor can stop the Support Persons control of their computer:
Press the ESC key.
Hold down the CTRL key, and then press the C key.
Click the Stop Control button next to the Requestor's chat window.
